Escape al futuro de los archivos históricos

Resumen

Actualmente, una actividad de ocio que está en continuo auge entre la población son las salas de escape o escape room directamente del inglés. ¿Por qué no adoptar este tipo de actividades como herramienta para difundir nuestras instituciones, fondos y documentos? O lo que es lo mismo: divulgar nuestro patrimonio gamificando. Con este artículo se pretende mostrar las distintas opciones que existen, cuales son relevantes para optimizar la difusión del material custodiado en nuestras instituciones y el caso práctico llevado a cabo en el Archivo Municipal de Girona.

There is an activity that is, nowadays, growing immensely through population spare time activities: it is called Escape Room. So, why not employing such activities as tools for promoting our institutions, founds or documents? In other words, spreading our heritage through gamification. The aim of this article is showing the different options that exist, just like the relevant ones that can be used for optimizing the dissemination of the materials kept in our institutions and the escape room designed by the Municipal Archive of Girona.
